These eight Chinese-Appalachian musical collaborations were recorded in January 2017 at the end of a three-week tour in China that involved musicians from three different groups:

Jenny and the Hog Drovers, from North Carolina, USA, are American old-time musicians who are steeped in the traditional fiddle tunes and songs of Appalachia.

Manhu, from the Yunnan Province of China, are masters of the Yi musical traditions of the Yunnan Province.

Mountain High, are three North American folk musicians who live in China.
